Huichol Indian Yarn Painting – 24″ x 24″

This Huichol yarn painting is unique in that it can be hung in a traditional manner, square, or it can be hung on the diamond, with one corner pointing up.  The design allows for this because it is not directional.

Originally intended as ceremonial offerings to insure a bountiful harvest, HUICHOL YARN ART PAINTINGS are not only beautiful works of art, but continue today as a testament to the Huichol (pronounced Wee-chol) people’s culture. Learn more about the Huichol Indians
